
Fish Fry
Friday, October 12 from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. We're having a fish fry at Mission Dolores Park with special guest fryers the McMullan & Covell men led by Mr. Barry McMullan.
We'll eat fish, hush puppies, accouterments, wine in a juice box and beer in a can. When you get there, you'll see a proud peacock flag flying, you'll hear the music playing and you'll smell the fish frying.
You can take the J-Church line of MUNI right to our fiesta ($1.50, exact change). Get off at 18th and Church and walk to the southwest corner .
Wedding
We start at 3:00 sharp(ish) so try to get there by 2:30. I. We're getting married at St. Patrick's Church downtown. It's the gothic structure amongst the glass towers. If you're a bit early, stop off next door at Beard Papa for a fresh custard-filled puff pastry. Yum.
Reception
Get to Zeum at 6:00 for a carousel ride and some group photos. Food, music, dancing and revelry to follow.You'll probably have a little time before. You could have a drink at B Restaurant & Bar. Or you could sip a spot of tea and have a bento box at Samovar. Or you could sleep off a boxed wine hangover at your hotel.
Brunch + Adventure
Stay awhile and take a last sip of San Francisco with brunch and a short adventures.
A nice brunch-time adventure would be to eat at Zazie in Cole Valley and then take a walk over to Golden Gate Park and check out the Conservatory of Flowers. (4 hours or you could take another hour and walk Haight Street)
You could also cruise downtown. Eat a decadent breakfast at Dottie's True Blue Cafe (get there early) and then walk around Union Square. (3 hours)
Or you could have some eggs in the back patio at Le Zinc and then shop a bit on 24th Street in Noe Valley. (2 hours)
